The board has approved the additional capital expenditure upto Rs 35 crore for creating manufacturing facilities for relocating the existing operations relating to manufacturing of oil filled distribution transformers & dry type transformers at new location at village Vadadla, Tehsil Savali, District Vadodara. This will enhance company's manufacturing capacity by 4000 MVA and on its completion the total installed capacity of the company will increase to 13000 MVA.

The board has appointed Vallabh N Madhani as an additional director of the company.

This was recommended at the board meeting held on 08 May 2008.
