High Court approves scheme of amalgamation of Punjab Chemicals & Crop Protection
With IA&IC Chem and Pauraj Chemicals
Punjab Chemicals & Crop Protection has announced that the Hon'ble Bombay High Court has approved the scheme of amalgamation of IA&IC Chem and Pauraj Chemicals (the wholly owned subsidiaries) with the company. Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court at Chandigarh has already dispensed with the holding of meetings of shareholders, unsecured creditors and secured creditors of the company and has also exempted the company from filing a second petition. Accordingly, the amalgamation of both the subsidiary companies with the company have been approved by the Hon'ble respective courts.
The company made this announcement during the trading hours today, 23 October 2007.
