Board of IRB Infrastructure Developers approves fund raising up to Rs 4500 cr

|
The Board of IRB Infrastructure Developers at its meeting held on 31 January 2024 has approved fund raising up to Rs 4,500 crore by way of foreign currency denominated notes, including US$ denominated bonds or other debt securities, either secured or unsecured, rated or unrated, unlisted or listed on any stock exchanges in India, and any international stock exchange outside India. The issuance of aforesaid debt securities is for the purpose of refinancing existing debt or debt securities.
The Board has also approved to enter into hedging contracts, where required, and as permitted by the RBI in relation to the debt securities and borrowings.
