Gujarat Pipavav Port has appointed Rajkumar Beniwal, IAS, Vice Chairman & CEO, GMB as Director on board of the company effective 13 December 2023.
An IAS officer of Year 2004 batch, apart from holding the charge of Vice Chairman & CEO, GMB, Beniwal holds additional charge of Managing Director of Gujarat Urban Development Company, Additional CEO of Gujarat Urban Development Mission and Commissioner of Municipalities
Administration. He has been driving the development and effective administration of the urban local bodies in Gujarat State. Beniwal has been the key official in organizing the Vibrant Gujarat Summit
in the Years 2017 & 2018.
Beniwal is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from IIT (BHU) Varanasi and holds Masters in Public Administration from Duke University, America.
