Board of Orient Cement approves investment under captive power scheme
At meeting held on 28 April 2023
The Board of Orient Cement at its meeting held on 28 April 2023 has granted in-principle approval to the proposal for entering into Share Subscription cum Shareholders Agreement (SSSHA) with Cleantech Solar India OA2 and the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), incorporated for putting up solar power plants with capacity of 16 MWdc for Chittapur plant in the state of Karnataka and 5.5 MWdc for Jalgaon plant in the state of Maharashtra under Captive Scheme, for contributing towards 26% of the equity share capital of the SPV, amounting to Rs 9.50 crore approximately.
