Punjab Chemicals & Crop Protection at its board meeting held on 31 July, 2006 has approved the acquisition (by the Company itself and its wholly owned subsidiaries) of balance 49% shares held by Excel Industries (Europe) NV in SD Agchem (Europe) NV to make it wholly owned subsidiary of the company for consideration of Euro 100,000.

The company has also acquired total shareholding of Pauraj Chemicals before amalgamation into the company for consideration of Rs 0.12 crore, net of all acquisition liabilities.
