Vadilal Industries has proposed to set-up a new ice-cream manufacturing plant at Kolkata, West Bengal (instead of at Uttaranchal as decided earlier) with an installed capacity of 32,000 litres per day and with a project cost of around Rs 9.74 crore.

The company will incur capital expenditure to the extent of Rs 7.56 crore for its ice-cream plant at Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, towards purchase of new automatic candy machine and other machines for its various sections in the plant.
