Timex Watches has stated that the company’s promoters - Timex Watches BV, and Time Master BV - have decided to reduce their existing holding of 83.54% in the company’s equity to below 75% through sale of shares in the open market. This is being done in order to comply with Sebi’s recent order that overseas parent’s in MNC affiliated companies should keep their holdings in their affiliates below 75%.
