Net profit of Kothari Sugars & Chemicals rose 52.49% to Rs 8.89 crore in the quarter ended June 2009 as against Rs 5.83 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2008. Sales declined 11.65% to Rs 91.18 crore in the quarter ended June 2009 as against Rs 103.20 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2008.
