Orient Ceramics & Industries reported net loss of Rs 2.61 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against net profit of Rs 2.49 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007. Sales rose 15.30% to Rs 63.77 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 55.31 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007.

For the full year, net profit declined 78.72% to Rs 2.49 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 11.70 crore during the previous year ended March 2007. Sales rose 15.42% to Rs 214.56 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 185.90 crore during the previous year ended March 2007.
