Panasonic Battery India Company reported net loss of Rs 0.73 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against net profit of Rs 2.41 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007. Sales declined 26.15% to Rs 29.43 crore in the quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 39.85 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2007.

For the full year, net profit rose 1.33% to Rs 3.05 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 3.01 crore during the previous year ended March 2007. Sales declined 14.11% to Rs 164.27 crore in the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 191.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2007.
