Net profit of Motor & General Finance rose 257.26% to Rs 12.79 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 3.58 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales declined 1.80% to Rs 2.73 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 2.78 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net profit rose 98.90% to Rs 14.44 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 7.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales rose 2.66% to Rs 11.18 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 10.89 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
