Net profit of Asahi India Glass declined 86.65% to Rs 8.94 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 66.95 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales rose 45.78% to Rs 230.12 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 157.85 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net profit declined 51.22% to Rs 42.08 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 86.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales rose 29.64% to Rs 761.84 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 587.67 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
