Whirlpool of India reported net profit of Rs 6.04 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against net loss of Rs 3.14 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales rose 18.85% to Rs 348.91 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 293.58 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net loss reported at Rs 5.32 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against net loss of Rs 38.09 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales rose 18.06% to Rs 1480.58 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 1254.07 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
