Hindustan Oil Exploration Company reported net loss of Rs 9.82 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against net loss of Rs 13.77 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales declined 17.26% to Rs 24.88 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 30.07 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net profit declined 85.88% to Rs 2.47 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 17.49 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales rose 21.51% to Rs 114.51 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 94.24 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
