Net profit of Dalmia Cement (Bharat) rose 15.47% to Rs 61.81 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 53.53 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales rose 90.80% to Rs 298.06 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 156.22 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net profit rose 169.81% to Rs 228.93 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 84.85 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales rose 73.14% to Rs 986.47 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 569.75 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
