Net profit of Sarup Tanneries rose 55.00% to Rs 0.31 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 0.20 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales declined 10.30% to Rs 8.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 9.03 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net profit rose 16.48% to Rs 1.06 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 0.91 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales rose 2.68% to Rs 31.80 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 30.97 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
