Net profit of Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation rose 140.72% to Rs 49.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 20.63 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.Sales rose 1.41% to Rs 185.47 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 182.89 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year,net profit rose 198.61% to Rs 105.26 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 35.25 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.Sales rose 34.01% to Rs 584.60 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 436.23 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
