Standalone
net sales (including other operating income) of Elantas Beck India has
increased 6.79% to Rs 163.27 crore.
Sales of Electrical Insulations segment has gone up 10.45% to Rs 137.95
crore (accounting for 84.40% of total sales).
Sales of Engineering & Electronic Resins and segment has gone down
9.47% to Rs 25.49 crore (accounting for 15.60% of total sales).
Profit
before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 63.55% to Rs
36.53 crore. PBIT of Electrical
Insulations segment rose 74.59% to Rs 28.01 crore (accounting for 76.69% of
total PBIT). PBIT of Engineering &
Electronic Resins and segment rose 35.38% to Rs 8.52 crore (accounting for
23.31% of total PBIT).
PBIT
margin of Electrical Insulations segment rose from 12.85% to 20.31%. PBIT margin of Engineering & Electronic
Resins and segment rose from 22.34% to 33.40%.
Overall PBIT margin rose from 14.59% to 22.35%.
Operating
profit margin has jumped from 15.92% to 23.46%, leading to 57.40% rise in
operating profit to Rs 38.31 crore. Raw
material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from
67.48% to 58.73%. Purchase of finished
goods cost rose from 0.52% to 0.70%.
Employee cost decreased from 5.85% to 5.50%. Other expenses rose from 10.08% to
11.32%.
Other
income up 118.67% to Rs 11.48 crore.
PBIDT rose 68.27% to Rs 49.79 crore.
Provision for interest fell 26.32% to Rs 0.14 crore.
PBDT
rose 68.88% to Rs 49.65 crore. Provision
for depreciation down 2.60% to Rs 3 crore.
Profit
before tax grew 77.24% to Rs 46.65 crore.
Provision for tax was expense of Rs 11.82 crore, compared to Rs 7.74
crore. Effective tax rate was 25.34%
compared to 22.27%.
Profit
after tax rose 28.95% to Rs 34.83 crore.
Promoters’
stake was 75.00% as of 30 September 2023 compared to 75.00% as of 30 September
2022 .

results analysis
Net
sales (including other operating income) of Elantas Beck India has increased
5.41% to Rs 506.06 crore. Sales of
Electrical Insulations segment has gone up 6.80% to Rs 430.58 crore (accounting
for 84.91% of total sales). Sales of
Engineering & Electronic Resins and segment has gone down 2.63% to Rs 76.53
crore (accounting for 15.09% of total sales).
Profit
before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 33.73% to Rs
106.31 crore. PBIT of Electrical
Insulations segment rose 33.79% to Rs 82.35 crore (accounting for 77.46% of
total PBIT). PBIT of Engineering &
Electronic Resins and segment rose 33.53% to Rs 23.96 crore (accounting for
22.54% of total PBIT).
PBIT
margin of Electrical Insulations segment rose from 15.27% to 19.13%. PBIT margin of Engineering & Electronic
Resins and segment rose from 22.83% to 31.30%.
Overall PBIT margin rose from 16.50% to 20.96%.
Operating
profit margin has jumped from 17.53% to 21.93%, leading to 31.89% rise in
operating profit to Rs 111.00 crore. Raw
material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from
67.03% to 61.16%. Purchase of finished
goods cost rose from 0.39% to 0.44%.
Employee cost increased from 5.26% to 5.40%. Other expenses rose from 9.94% to
10.98%.
Other
income up 201.75% to Rs 32.71 crore.
PBIDT rose 51.27% to Rs 143.71 crore.
Provision for interest fell 28.85% to Rs 0.37 crore.

rose 51.71% to Rs 143.34 crore.
Provision for depreciation down 4.75% to Rs 8.82 crore.
Profit
before tax grew 57.85% to Rs 134.52 crore.
Provision for tax was expense of Rs 34.22 crore, compared to Rs 22.35
crore. Effective tax rate was 25.44%
compared to 23.87%.
Profit
after tax rose 40.67% to Rs 100.30 crore.
