Half yearly performance

Net sales (including other operating income) of Macrotech Developers has increased 19.09% to Rs 4441.18 crore. Operating profit margin has declined from 21.29% to 20.06%, leading to 12.18% rise in operating profit to Rs 890.72 crore. Employee cost decreased from 4.87% to 4.65%. Other expenses rose from 73.84% to 75.29%. Selling and administration expenses fell from 66.86% to 66.44%. Construction development cost fell from 66.86% to 66.44%. PBIDT fell 6.92% to Rs 886.55 crore. Provision for interest fell 39.13% to Rs 244.27 crore. PBDT rose 16.53% to Rs 642.28 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 12.09% to Rs 41.54 crore. Profit before tax grew 16.85% to Rs 600.74 crore. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 82.89 crore, compared to Rs 130.67 crore. Effective tax rate was negative 14.32% compared to 25.38%. Minority interest decreased 81% to Rs 0.53 crore.

Equity capital increased from Rs 447.32 crore as of 30 September 2021 to Rs 481.62 crore as of 30 September 2022. Per share face Value remained same at Rs 10.00.

Promoters’ stake was 82.20% as of 30 September 2022 ,compared to 88.50% as of 30 September 2021 .

Loan funds declined from Rs 15,190.55 crore as of 30 September 2021 to Rs 10,496.94 crore as of 30 September 2022. Inventories declined from Rs 28,229.04 crore as of 30 September 2021 to Rs 28,016.67 crore as of 30 September 2022. Sundry debtors were lower at Rs 589.80 crore as of 30 September 2022 compared to Rs 695.09 crore as of 30 September 2021. Cash and bank balance rose to Rs 1,413.85 crore as of 30 September 2022 from Rs 697.18 crore as of 30 September 2021. Investments rose to Rs 314.36 crore as of 30 September 2022 from Rs 240.58 crore as of 30 September 2021. Fixed assets declined from Rs 1,374.94 crore as of 30 September 2021 to Rs 1,288.96 crore as of 30 September 2022. Intangible assets declined from Rs 542.84 crore to Rs 534.43 crore.

Cash flow from operating activities increased to Rs 1,082.79 crore for YTD ended September 2022 from Rs 948.99 crore for YTD ended September 2021. Cash flow used in acquiring fixed assets during the YTD ended September 2022 stood at Rs 47.38 crore, compared to Rs 4.97 crore during the YTD ended September 2021.
