Net up 69% on strong operating show
Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Voltamp Transformers for the quarter ended Jun 2022 has increased 66.90% to Rs 270.14 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 4.11% to 13.43%, leading to 445.56% rise in operating profit to Rs 36.28 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 85.16% to 79.18%. Employee cost decreased from 4.27% to 3.27%. Other expenses fell from 7.20% to 6.01%. PBIDT rose 79.71% to Rs 35.87 crore. Provision for interest up 60% to Rs 0.24 crore. PBDT rose 79.86% to Rs 35.63 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 18.92% to Rs 2.2 crore. Profit before tax grew 86.14% to Rs 33.43 crore. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 6.75 crore, compared to Rs 2.17 crore. Effective tax rate was 20.19% compared to 12.08%. Profit after tax rose 68.97% to Rs 26.68 crore.
Promoters’ stake was 50.00% as of 30 June 2022 ,compared to 50.00% as of 30 June 2021 .
