Net up 224% led by strong operating show

|
|
Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of
Ingersoll-Rand (India) for the quarter ended June 2021 has increased 111% to Rs
194.23 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 12.9% to 18.6%,
leading to 206% rise in operating profit to Rs 36.18 crore. Raw
material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from
52.83% to 59.21%. Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 3.34%
to 2.02%. Employee cost decreased from 17.30% to 11.98%.
Other expenses fell from 13.37% to 9.27%. Other income
fell 17% to Rs 2.79 crore. PBIDT rose 157% to Rs 38.97
crore. Provision for interest up 43% to Rs 0.4 crore. PBDT
rose 159% to Rs 38.57 crore. Provision for depreciation down 9% to
Rs 3.31 crore. Profit before tax grew 213% to Rs 35.26 crore. Provision
for tax was expense of Rs 8.97 crore, compared to Rs 3.16
crore. Effective tax rate was 25.44% compared to 28.01%. Profit
after tax rose 224% to Rs 26.29 crore.
Promoters’ stake was 75.00% as of 30
June 2021 ,compared to 74.00% as of 30 June 2020 .
