Net sales for the quarter ended June 18 of the company stood at Rs 253.60 crore, up by 21% on YoY basis. OPM was flat at 11.3%, thus resulted in the OP increase of 20% to Rs 28.60 crore. Other income for June 18 quarter stood at Rs 9.80 crore up by 38%. Thus, PBIDT was higher by 24% to Rs 38.40 crore. With interest costs at Rs 0.50 crore and depreciation being higher by 32% to Rs 9.80 crore, PBT was up by 21% to Rs 28.10 crore. With total tax of Rs 6.70 crore, down by 16% YoY, PAT for the quarter ended June 18 stood at Rs 21.40 crore, up by 40%.

For the quarter, sales from the Pump Segment stood at Rs 217.6 crore and accounted for 80% of sales. PBIT from the same was down by 1% to Rs 19.90 crore and accounted for 92% of total.

For the quarter, sales from the Valves Segment stood at Rs 36.30 crore and accounted for 13% of sales. PBIT from the same stood at Rs 1.80 crore as compared to loss of Rs 0.50 crore for June 17 quarter and accounted for 8% of total.

For the quarter, sales from other segment stood at Rs 17.50 crore and accounted for 6% of sales. Loss at PBIT level stood at Rs 10 lakh as compared to loss of Rs 20 lakh for June 17 quarter.

Performance for the 6 months ended June18

For the 6 months ended June 18 net sales of the company stood at Rs 466.10 crore, up by 12% on YoY basis. OPM decreased by 20 bps to 10.4%, thus resulted in an OP of Rs 48.40 crore up by 10% YoY. Other income for June17 quarter stood at Rs 17.50 crore up by 5% YoY. Thus, PBIDT was higher by 8% to Rs 65.90. crore. With interest costs being lower by 58% to Rs 1 crore and depreciation were up by 32% to Rs 19.50 crore, PBT was higher by 4% to Rs 45.40 crore. With total tax of Rs 12.80 crore, down by 15% YoY, PAT for the 6 months ended June 18 stood at Rs 32.60 crore, up by 14%.

For the 6 months, sales from the Pumps segment stood at Rs 390.40 crore and accounted for 78% of sales. PBIT from the same was down by 10% to Rs 36.70 crore and accounted for 92% of total.

For the 6 months, sales from the Valves segment stood at Rs 75.80 crore and accounted for 15% of sales. PBIT from the same stood at Rs 3.40 crore as compared to Rs 0.60 crore for the 6 months ended June17 and accounted for 9% of total.

For the 6 months, sales from other segment stood at Rs 34.40 crore and accounted for 7% of total sales. Loss at PBIT level stood at Rs 40 lakh as compared to loss of Rs 60 lakh for 6 months ended June17 period.
