Himatsingka Seide, ESI to benefit from cut in customs duty on raw silk
basic customs duty on raw silk (not thrown) cut from 30% to 5%

The silk textile sector will cherish the cut in basic customs duty on raw silk (not thrown) of all grades from 30% to 5%.

Himatsingka Seide and Eastern Silk Industries (ESI) are the two major players in the Indian Silk textile sector, that will benefit from the cut in customs duty on their inputs (raw silk).
