New India Assurance Company is coming with an initial public offering (IPO) of up to 12 crore shares consisting a fresh issue of up to 2.40 crore shares and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 9.60 crore shares by the Government of India.

The price band for the issue has been fixed at Rs 770-800 per share. The issue opens on 1 November and closes on 3 November 2017.

New India Assurance Company is a Govt owned multinational general insurance company operating in 28 countries and headquartered at Mumbai.
