During the month of February 2024, Leather sector’s Marketcap increased 3.81% to Rs 80092.86 crore, compared to 43.05% rise in total listed marketcap to Rs 38849922.4 crore.

Sector’s share of total listed marketcap moved to 0.21% in February 2024 from 0.28% in January 2023 and 0.3% in January 2022.

Companies like Bata India Ltd, Campus Activewear Ltd, Superhouse Ltd, Khadim India Ltd, Bhartiya International Ltd, Lehar Footwears Ltd, Phoenix International Ltd, Liberty Shoes Ltd, Euro Leder Fashion Ltd and Amin Tannery Ltd reported fall in net profit attributable to shareholders.

Companies like Sarup Industries Ltd reported loss to profit and Zenith Exports Ltd, Ace Exports Ltd and Bhartiya International Ltd reported profit to loss.
