During the month of September 2022, Leather sector's Marketcap increased 2.31% to Rs 72432.16 crore, compared to -3.07% fall in total listed marketcap to Rs 27271513.73 crore.

Sector's share of total listed marketcap moved to 0.27% in September 2022 from 0.25% in August 2022 and 0.2% in September 2021.



In terms of price appreciation in the sector, there were 13 gainers and 3 losers in the month of Sep 2022. The gainers accounted for 61.90% of sector companies, losers accounted for 14.29% of sector companies, while 5% remained unchanged.

The top 3 gainers were Liberty Shoes (79.72% gain), Oscar Global (56.65% gain) and Lehar Footwears (33.78% gain).

The 3 losers at the bottom were Amin Tannery (-16.34% fall), Bata India (-6.26% fall) and Phoenix Intl. (-5.88% fall).



Super Tannery Ltd, Superhouse Ltd and Liberty Shoes Ltd became ex-dividend.

FIIs increased their shareholding in Campus Activewear Ltd from 3.69% to 5.27%, Mirza International Ltd from 3.00% to 3.42% and Bata India Ltd from 6.66% to 6.84%.
