Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 146.40 points, or 0.90%, to 16,129.65.

On BSE, 63,000 shares were traded in the counter as against an average daily volume of 92,224 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 332 and a low of Rs 311.45 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 298.65 on 19 August 2011 and a 52-week high of Rs 871 on 8 September 2010.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month until 24 August 2011, sliding 28.47% compared with the Sensex's 13.02% fall. The scrip had also underperformed the market in past one quarter, sliding 28.58% as against 9.59% decline in the Sensex.
