The company announced its board meeting during trading hours today, 13 July 2011.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 104.32 points, or 0.57%, to 18,515.94.
On BSE, 1.08 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against an average daily volume of 7,692 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 523.80 and a low of Rs 472 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 531.95 on 11 November 2010 and a 52-week low of Rs 363 on 21 July 2010.
The mid-cap stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 12 July 2011, rising 1.15% compared with the Sensex's return of 0.78%. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 0.97% as against 4.42% decline in the Sensex.
The company has an equity capital of Rs 31.57 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
Ingersoll-Rand said its board will also consider the company's Q1 June 2011 results in the same meeting on 20 July 2011.
Ingersoll-Rand (India)'s net profit rose 24.7% to Rs 18.58 crore on 17.5% increase in net sales to Rs 116.88 crore in Q4 March 2011 over Q4 March 2010.
Ingersoll-Rand (India) manufactures industrial equipment. The company's products include air compressors and stationary generators.
