On BSE, 336 shares were traded in the counter as against an average daily volume of 1,094 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 779.70 so far during the day, which is a record high for the counter. The stock hit a low of Rs 760 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 101 on 24 December 2008.

The small-cap stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 4 December 2009, gaining 22.39% as compared to the Sensex's 7.47% rise. It had also outperformed the market in the past one quarter, soaring 128.28% as compared to the Sensex's return of 9%.

The current price of Rs 779.70 discounts the company's Q2 September 2009 annualized EPS of Rs 64.26, by a PE multiple of 12.14.

This is the third bonus from International Conveyors. Earlier, the company had issued liberal 1:1 bonus each in January 1996 and in March 1995.

International Conveyors' net profit spurted 465.6% to Rs 5.43 crore on 43% rise in net sales to Rs 23.86 crore in Q2 September 2009 over Q2 September 2008.

The company is engaged in manufacturing and selling PVC conveyor belt solutions. The product includes PVC fire resistant antistatic solid woven coal conveyor belting. The company operates in three segments: conveyor belting, trading goods and wind energy.
