Meanwhile, Nifty Metal index of which Vedanta Ltd is a constituent, has added around 3.64% in last one month and is currently quoting at 9936.8, up 0.47% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 86.95 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 202.08 lakh shares in last one month. The benchmark July futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 478.55, up 1.56% on the day.
