REC Ltd rose for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 496.85, up 5.68% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 1.58% on the day, quoting at 21690.1. The Sensex is at 71801.88, up 1.56%. REC Ltd has added around 16.95% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty Financial Services index of which REC Ltd is a constituent, has added around 4.89% in last one month and is currently quoting at 20099.4, up 1.54% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 203.92 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 140.67 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark February futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 498.35, up 5.18% on the day. REC Ltd is up 328.5% in last one year as compared to a 22.9% gain in NIFTY and a 12.81% gain in the Nifty Financial Services index.

The PE of the stock is 9.52 based on TTM earnings ending December 23.
