Bajel Projects edges higher after bagging Rs 488 crore work order from Tata Power
Bajel Projects added 3.52% to Rs 149.85 after the company announced that it has bagged a letter of intent (LOI) from Tata Power Company for a project worth Rs 487.64 crore.

The scope of the LOI involves supply of plant and installation services for engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning of transmission lines and GIS substations at Greater Noida, Jalpura and Khurja in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The project has to be completed within a period of 18 months.

Bajel Projects (BPL) is a leading company in the business of power infrastructure, with a strong presence in the Power Transmission and Power Distribution sectors. BPL was formerly part of Bajaj Electricals Limited under the EPC segment.

The company had reported a net loss of Rs 4.44 crore in Q2 FY24 as against a net profit of Rs 3.13 crore in Q2 FY23. Total revenue from operations increased to Rs 194.34 crore in Q2 FY24 from Rs 49.47 crore recorded in the same period last year.
