State Bank of India is up for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 605.95, up 1.89% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.55% on the day, quoting at 20800.85. The Sensex is at 69214.22, up 0.51%. State Bank of India has gained around 5.5% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index of which State Bank of India is a constituent, has gained around 7.64% in last one month and is currently quoting at 46431.4, up 1.13% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 251.64 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 134.6 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark December futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 609.75, up 1.79% on the day. State Bank of India is down 0.49% in last one year as compared to a 11.58% jump in NIFTY and a 8.84% jump in the Nifty Bank index.

The PE of the stock is 8.54 based on TTM earnings ending September 23.
