Salzer Electronics has secured a 20-year patent for its Heavy Duty Energy Efficient Automatic Source Changeover (ACCL). This technology has proven to be a key revenue driver since its introduction in 2016, generating an impressive approximately Rs 10 crore within the Building Segment business division.
The ACCL, a precision system designed to effectively manage generator power distribution in various settings, boasts an automatic source changeover with a current limiting feature aimed at preventing generator overload. What sets this innovation apart is the incorporation of a unique heavy duty contactor design into the changeover product, a first in the world.
Furthermore, Salzer Electronics has partnered with major players in the electrical industry in India to expand the distribution of this product. The versatile applications of this innovation in the Urban Market are expected to result in accelerated growth, highlighting its relevance in addressing critical power management needs on the demand side.

On a consolidated basis, net profit of Salzer Electronics rose 4.79% to Rs 9.84 crore while net sales rose 14.29% to Rs 280.72 crore in Q2 September 2023 over Q2 September 2022.
Shares of Salzer Electronics fell 0.27% to Rs 364.65 on 24 November 2023. The domestic stock market is shut today (27 November 2023) on account of Gurunanak Jayanti.
