Tata Motors Ltd rose 3.04% today to trade at Rs 656.15. The S&P BSE Auto index is up 1.02% to quote at 36629.11. The index is up 2.35 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Uno Minda Ltd increased 1.28% and Hero MotoCorp Ltd added 1.12% on the day. The S&P BSE Auto index went up 20.43 % over last one year compared to the 5.93% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Tata Motors Ltd has added 6.95% over last one month compared to 2.35% gain in S&P BSE Auto index and 1.19% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 1.98 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 6.42 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 677.9 on 16 Oct 2023. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 375.5 on 26 Dec 2022.
