Among the other constituents of the index, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd increased 2.02% and National Aluminium Company Ltd added 1.95% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went up 20.39 % over last one year compared to the 8.69% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
