Shares of G R Infraprojects rose 1.46% to Rs 1,208.35 and Patel Engineering advanced 2.82% to Rs 50.62 on the BSE.
The project entails construction of civil works for head race tunnel including intake, pressure shafts, penstocks, power house & transformer cavern, tail race tunnel, pothead yard, adits for Dibang Multipurpose Project in Arunachal Pradesh.
The bid cost of the said project is Rs 3,637.12 crore and is to be completed in 86 months. The share of G R Infra and Patel Engg is 50% each.
G R Infraprojects is an integrated road engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company largely focused on road sector. The company has also recently diversified into projects in the railway sector.
Patel Engineering is a civil construction company that specializes in hydropower and irrigation projects.
