The flood water entered Alembic's manufacturing facility at Namthang and hence manufacturing operations stand disrupted with effect from 4 October 2023.
Alembic Pharma said that there was no loss or harm caused to any personnel. The assessment of loss / damage will take a while. All assets of the company are adequately insured and necessary intimations have been given to the insurance companies.

The pharmaceutical company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 120.60 crore in Q1 FY24 as against a net loss of Rs 65.88 crore in Q1 FY23. Revenue from operations jumped 17.7% YoY to Rs 1,486.15 crore in Q1 FY24.
The scrip fell 0.54% to Rs 786.55 on the BSE.
