NBCC (India) said that it had conducted twentieth auction for sale of commercial space in the World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi.
The company has sold a total area of approximately 1.98 lakh sq.ft., the sale value of which is Rs 821.02 crore. Out of the total land parcel sold, an area of 1.23 lakh sq.ft., having sale value of Rs 518.08 crore, has been sold to private entities.
Further, as on date, the company has sold a total area of 17.79 lakh sq.ft. through open e-auction having sale value of Rs 7,194.10 crore.
Separately, after market hours yesterday, NBCC (India) had announced the signing of an MoU with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) for working together in the field of building & infrastructure development in overseas projects.
NBCC (India) provides civil engineering construction services. As on 31 March 2023, the Government of India held 61.75% stake in NBCC (India).
The company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 75.14 crore in the quarter ended June 2023 as against net loss of Rs 6.29 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2022. Sales rose 7.11% to Rs 1913.79 crore in Q1 FY24 over Q1 FY23.
The scrip rose 0.18% to currently trade at Rs 51.15 on the BSE.
