Revenue from operations (excluding excise duty) stood at Rs 385.02 crore in Q1 FY24, registering a growth of 51.4% as against Rs 254.30 crore posted in Q1 FY23.
Profit before tax surged 51.8% year on year to Rs 42.70 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2023.
Total expenses were at Rs 717.53 crore in the first quarter of FY24, up 74.44% on YoY basis. Cost of materials consumed was at Rs 245.33 crore (up 89.11% YoY) and employee benefits expense came in at Rs 818.36 crore (up 39.91% YoY) during the period under review.
EBIDTA jumped 40% to Rs 50.14 crore in Q1 FY24 as compared with Rs 35.89 crore recorded in Q1 FY23.
Som Distilleries and Breweries is primarily engaged in brewing, fermentation, bottling, canning and blending of beer and Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL). It also supplies draught beer from its plants.
The couter hit an all time high of Rs 360.50 in today's intraday session.
