RailTel Corp gains on bagging order worth Rs 39 cr
RailTel Corporation of India rose 2.06% to Rs 133.50 after the PSU company announced that it has received a work order from National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated (NICSI), aggregating to Rs 39.37 crore.

The order entails onsite security operations center (SOC) and network operations center (NOC) with high availability solution with 5 years support installation and training.

The order is to be executed in a period of five years from the service start date.

RailTel, a "Mini Ratna (Category-I)" Central Public Sector Enterprise is an information and communications technology (ICT) provider and one of the largest neutral telecom infrastructure providers in the country owning a pan-India optic fiber network on exclusive Right of Way (ROW) along Railway track. As on 31 March 2023, the Government of India holds 72.84% stake in the company.

The public sector enterprise reported 40% jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 76.04 crore on 51.1% rise in revenue from operations to Rs 703.63 crore in Q4 FY23 over Q4 FY22.
