REC Ltd gained for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 156.6, up 1.79% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.16% on the day, quoting at 18724.6. The Sensex is at 63022.52, down 0.23%. REC Ltd has added around 21.4% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty Energy index of which REC Ltd is a constituent, has added around 0.25% in last one month and is currently quoting at 19425.9, down 0.45% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 65.72 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 88.97 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark June futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 156.5, up 1.59% on the day. REC Ltd is up 80.23% in last one year as compared to a 19.73% gain in NIFTY and a 25.28% gain in the Nifty Energy index.
