Ramkrishna Forgings has received an order to supply undercarriage parts to a renowned European Railway Passenger Coach manufacturer. The contract is valued at 4.5 million euros and is set to be fulfilled within a span of two years.

Kolkata-headquartered Ramkrishna Forgings specializes in the manufacture of forged products, and has a wide range of customers in the automotive, railway, farm equipment, bearings, oil & gas, power and construction, and earth moving & mining sectors. The company is a preferred supplier to OEMs such as TATA Motors, Ashok Leyland, VE Commercial, and Daimler.
The firm's consolidated net profit decilned 18.4% to Rs 68.45 crore despite of 24% jump in net sales to Rs 891.64 crore in Q4 FY23 over Q4 FY22.
Shares of Ramkrishna Forgings surged 6.77% to Rs 411.60 on Tuesday, 13 June 2023.
