NTPC declares commercial operations of second part of Gandhar Solar PV Project
The state-run power major said that it declared commercial operation of second part capacity of 10 megawatt (MW) out of 20 MW Gandhar Solar PV Project at Gandhar, Gujarat.
In an exchange filing, NTPC said that the project was declared on commercial operation with effect from 00:00 hrs of 6 June 2023.

With this, standalone installed and commercial capacity of NTPC will become 56,378 MW, while group installed and commercial capacity of NTPC will become 72,364 MW.

NTPC is India's largest energy conglomerate. It has presence in the entire value chain of the power generation business. As on 30 September 2022, the Government of India holds 51.10% in NTPC.

The company recorded 1% rise in standalone net profit to Rs 5,672.32 crore on a 21.8% increase in total income to Rs 43,399.15 crore in Q4 FY23 as compared with Q4 FY22.

The scrip rose 0.37% to Rs 174.80 on the BSE.
