Revenue from operations surged 47.89% to Rs 874.78 crore in Q4 FY23 from Rs 591.51 crore posted in Q4 FY22.
The company reported a loss before exceptional items of Rs 22.56 crore in Q4 FY23 as compared to a profit before exceptional items of Rs 130.76 crore reported in Q4 FY22. Exceptional items stood at Rs 660.68 crore during the quarter.
Total expenses soared 95.96% YoY to Rs 903.86 crore in Q4 FY23. Cost of raw materials and components consumed was at Rs 371.57 crore (up 78.05% YoY) while employee benefits expense stood at Rs 85.53 crore (up 147.7% YoY) during the period under review.
On full year basis, the company reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 466.11 crore in FY23 as against a net profit of Rs 269 crore recorded in FY22. Revenue from operations jumped 36.36% YoY to Rs 2,726.27 crore in FY23.
Meanwhile, the company's board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 2.50 per equity share for FY23, subject to approval of the shareholders.
