While the export-import (EXIM) throughput improved by 2.21% year on year to 8,51,261 TEUs in quarter ended 31 March 2023. Domestic (DOM) throughput jumped 13.53% to 2,67,773 TEUs in Q4 FY23 over Q4 FY22.
CONCOR's total throughput grew by 7.08% in the period ended March 2023 to 43,61,131 TEUs as against 40,72,925 TEUs recorded in the period ended March 2022.
CONCOR operates 59 terminals across the country along with two strategic tie-ups. The company's primary operation is to provide inland transportation of containers from ports using rail wagons. The company also manages cold storage chains and warehouses. The GOI, through the Ministry of Railways, continues to hold a majority stake of 54.8% in the company at the end of December 2022.
The company's consolidated net profit rose 3.4% to Rs 294.20 crore on 3.4% increase in revenue from operations to Rs 2,004.46 crore in Q3 FY23 over Q3 FY22.
