Among the other constituents of the index, Vodafone Idea Ltd increased 1.78% and Railtel Corporation of India Ltd added 1.66% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecommunication index went down 11.36 % over last one year compared to the 3.03% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Indus Towers Ltd has lost 9.48% over last one month compared to 5.23% fall in S&P BSE Telecommunication index and 1.01% rise in the SENSEX. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 135.2 on 27 Jan 2023.
