The company will sell 1.80 MW power to J. Korin Spinning, 2.70 MW to J S Ecotex, 2.25 MW to Oriilon India, 5 MW to Jay Bharat Metcast, 2.93 MW to Kiri Industries and 1.20 MW to Cheminova India.
The company said that the aforementioned clients will be supplied power from its upcoming wind-solar hybrid power project of 16.10 MW (comprising 16.10 MW wind and 10 MWdc solar capacity) at Bhungar site, Mahuva, in Bhavnagar District, Gujarat, under the Gujarat Hybrid Power Policy 2018.
KPI Green Energy (formerly known as K.P.I. Global Infrastructure) generates and sells solar power under Solarism brand name in India. It develops, builds, owns, operates, and maintains solar power plants as an independent power producer and captive power producer.
The company's consolidated net profit surged to Rs 22.23 crore in the quarter ended June 2022 as against Rs 7.99 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2021. Sales jumped to Rs 122.33 crore in Q1 FY23 from Rs 35.42 crore in Q1 FY22.
The scrip declined 2.04% to currently trade at Rs 881.25 on the BSE.
