REC Ltd gained for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 119.6, up 1.4% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 1.15% on the day, quoting at 15879.75. The Sensex is at 53333.72, up 1.15%. REC Ltd has dropped around 0.37% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty Energy index of which REC Ltd is a constituent, has dropped around 5.63% in last one month and is currently quoting at 15595.5, up 0.63% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 14.07 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 36.43 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark June futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 119.9, up 1.44% on the day. REC Ltd is down 16.1% in last one year as compared to a 0.41% gain in NIFTY and a 5.85% gain in the Nifty Energy index.

The PE of the stock is 2.32 based on TTM earnings ending March 22.
